Our Mission with the Klevr Super League (KSL), is to provide families with an affordable, safe, fun and competitive hockey league focused on premium development and experience.
Kris is a co-founder of the Klevr Super League. He currently serves in the role of Senior Advisor and Ambassador.Kris was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta where he grew to love the game of hockey at a young age. Kris often tells everyone that his "extra development" in hockey was playing with a stick and tennis ball on the road.Kris went onto the WHL before being drafted by Boston and traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. It was with the Chicago Blackhawks that Kris established himself as a gritty, offensively talented, two way forward.
Kris won two Stanley Cups with Chicago. Kris played 12 seasons in total for Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, Florida, Carolina, Los Angeles and Calgary.Kris retired from the NHL and created the Klevr APP, a tool for coaches to video and provide feedback to players.Kris's oldest son is a graduate of the Klevr Super League and currently plays AAA for the Whitby Wildcats. Kris's second son, currently plays for the Klevr Young Kings in the Klevr Super League.
Jamie is a Co-Founder of the Klevr Super League. He currently serves as President and Commissioner. Jamie is responsible for KSL events and day to day operations.Jamie has been an Educator for 23 years and has served in the role as Principal for the past 16 years. Currently, Jamie is the Principal of Everest Academy in Vaughan, Ontario. Jamie has served as a Principal Qualification Program Instructor, teaching and facilitating the learning of new and aspiring Vice Principals and Principals. He received the Excellence in Educational Leadership award in 2018 in recognition of his efforts in the role of Principal.
Jamie's son Joshua is a graduate of the Klevr Super League and currently plays AAA for the Toronto Junior Canadiens. His oldest son Gabe, also plays for the Toronto Junior Canadiens and his daughter Claire plays AA girls hockey with the Peterborough Ice Kats.When not at a rink or field with one of his three children, Jamie can be found at the lake enjoying the outdoors with his wife Maureen, and his three children.
Payam is our Vice President of Business. Payam oversees sponsorships and partnerships. He supports organizations and teams with financial questions and organizes everything business related behind the scenes.
Payam’s business journey began at a young age, owning his first business while in his second year of university. He is a jack of all trades in the business world, with a history in the automotive industry, in real estate, and as an entrepreneur. Payam has a vast background in business, but learned early on that providing the best customer service in any industry is what ultimately will lead to success.
If you can’t get ahold of Payam, it’s likely because he’s busy being the loudest cheerleader for his son or daughter. Payam has a family-first approach to life. Payam's son, Ari is a graduate of the Klevr Super League and currently plays AAA for the Whitby Wildcats. Payam rarely misses any event his children are in, always making time to support them.
Laura Pendli is our Administration Manager. She supports teams and families with registrations, rosters and daily inquiries. Her biggest task is keeping Kris organized.
Laura is a founding member of the Klevr Super Superleague. She also Co-Founded the Klevr Young Kings.
Laura's son Braedan is a graduate of the Klevr Super League and now plays AAA for the Whitby Wildcats. Laura's husband, Peter, is a National Soccer referee for Canada Soccer and her daughter Kayla is a competitive gymnast.
Laura is a teacher with extensive professional and athletic experience. She is a former division 1 softball athlete, a 4x All Big South conference selection and a first team ESPN Academic All American Selection.
